Kestrel Aviation Inc was founded in 1995 as an aerial tours company. Recognizing the need for low-cost on-demand charter service we received our air carrier certificate in 1997; and originally offered service in a Partenavia P68C. An Italian high-wing twin, with fixed landing gear, and Lycoming engines, it made sense as an aerial tours platform, but lacked the speed and all-weather capability required for reliable charter operations in New England.
We expanded into a Piper Navajo Chieftain in 2000. Always dispatching with a two pilot crew and having state-of-the-art navigation and anti-collision systems, Kestrel Aviation provides non scheduled air service throughout New England and the Northeast. While the company long distance record is Red Lodge, Montana, typical charter destinations are: Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, East Hampton, West Hampton, Fisher’s Island, Block Island, White Plains, Teterboro, Belmar-Farmingdale, Bangor, Presque Isle, Caribou, Berlin etc.
